The opening ceremony of Malaysia Hall Perth was held on 13 November 2014 by name of YAB Tan Sri Dato’ Hj Muhyiddin Hj Mohd Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister.
​
To this day, the Hall is open to Malaysians who are studying in Australia and Malaysians alike who are travelling to Perth. Strict regulations are also being implemented at DMP. Charges are based on the provided categories (students/non-students/long term stay/short term stay).
