Citizen registration at the high commission for Malaysians in Australia

Citizens of Malaysia (including Malaysia Permanent Resident of Malaysia) are encouraged to register themselves and family members at the High Commission. Citizen registration is important, primarily for the purpose of communication with the High Commission and receiving assistance in times of need, such as civil unrest, natural catastrophe in case of fire, flood, earthquake or other emergency especially where the need for evacuation and delivery of survival assistance is essential to you at your area of stay.

Other than emergencies, you also get to be updated from time to time of important news/development involving our beloved country Malaysia or to be informed of celebration/public events and other important dates you may like to attend at the High Commission.

The possibilities are many and reaching you and your family can be beneficial or even pressing in times of need; whether through telephone, email, posted mail or through our network of cooperation within the Australia Government. Your registered information is restricted for need of communication between the High Commission and you only.

Please ask our counter staff for a copy of the registration form for Malaysians Abroad and submit the complete forms by hand or post to have yourselves registered immediately with the High Commission
